The French escape!
This welcoming and beautifully restored, characterful townhouse is a self-catering accommodation, fully-equipped for both indoor dining and alfresco feasting. Children can enjoy hide and seek amongst the trees in this detached and fully-fenced large space for big imaginations. Enjoy delicious cherries, plums and pears from the garden depending on the changing seasons. Savour the sun as it sets behind the rolling hills, whilst cows amble meditatively across the fields before nightfall. Lose yourself in the great expanse of the night sky, stargazing in calm stillness.
The townhouse is a mixture of rustic charm and modern convenience with a beautiful, detached spacious garden, complete with idyllic country views. Enjoy both long retreats or shorter stays here on your onward journey through South-West France.
The ground floor is tastefully tiled with a country-style kitchen at the far end and a homely dining space (table seating six) and living area to the front. Lovely oak beams can be found throughout. The leather sofa opens into a comfortable double bed. The house is heated by a large log burner (wood supplied in the barn, a two-minute walk away).
The house and detached garden
Common to some French houses, the garden is located a short two-minute walk away from the house. Plenty of hot water is available in the house along with a front-loading washing machine, microwave and large fridge-freezer. Your digital detox awaits (although you can connect to an Orange wifi hotspot if you must!)
